![]() We were only stuck for about 10 minutes but security followed up to make sure we were okay and gave us a $75 room credit. Then, while we were returning to our room after a day at the beach, we got stuck on an elevator and had to call for assistance. They ended up switching us to the same exact room one floor lower and a couple extra doors further away from the elevators which made all the difference. When I explained the situation to the guy at the front desk he seemed a little skeptical (I think he thought we were looking for a room upgrade, but at this point I would have taken a downgrade just to be able to get some sleep) but said he would talk to his manager. On our way down we determined it was the elevators we were hearing. At 3am we couldn’t take it anymore and made our way down to check in to see if it was possible to change rooms. When we finally laid down to sleep after a long day of traveling (2 layovers due to a last minute flight cancellation) we heard a whooshing noise was every couple of minutes for HOURS. The smell ended up getting worse as the night went on which was annoying but manageable. We thought okay whatever maybe the people before us smoked. ![]() The first room we were given was supposed to be on a non smoking floor, however as soon as we walked into the room we were hit with an overwhelming smell of fresh marijuana smoke. I’m usually not the type to leave a review unless I feel like they went above and beyond what was expected. ![]()
